To be honest.. we have had 0 problems converting servers and desktops from RHL-9 to RHEL-3. I would say that any site needing RH9 should look at RHEL-3 {CENTOS/TAO/WHITEBOX/etc} versus legacy. -- Stephen J Smoogen.
