From a machine that still has the old sendmail on it shows the exact
same message. Here is an example:
Mar 29 16:11:43 hostnamehere sendmail[3079]: k2U0BgxL003077:
to=<emailremoved@xxxxxxxxx>, ctladdr=<myaddress@xxxxxxxxxx> (0/0),
delay=00:00:01, xdelay=00:00:01, mailer=esmtp, pri=30365,
relay=mta01.cdpd.airdata.com. [199.88.234.33], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent
(Message received and queued)
this message makes it through all the way to my phone.
Something at mmode.com is deciding to silently drop emails received
from newly patched sendmail boxes. No bounces are received.
I should be clear that is has only been tried with the email to phone
gateway where the recipient address looks like 18005551212@xxxxxxxxx
and not with their enterprise paging service that has an email
address format of name@xxxxxxxxxx

Out of curiosity, what does your maillog show for a message that
actually gets through to your phone?

I have also confirmed that this happens with the sendmail updates

this isn't just a fedoralegacy problem...
Anyone one the list have access to or know a person that actually
run the email to sms gateway for cingular wireless? It would be
great if we could get them to bounce these messages rather than
just silently dropping them. Maybe the bounce would tell us
something.

Ok, this is strange. Since installing the new sendmail packages
on several 7.3, 9, FC1 and 3 boxes, I am no longer to able to
send email SMS messages to anything at mmode.com. In my maillog
I see things like:
Mar 29 14:13:32 ns sendmail[4969]: k2TMDWk9004967:
to=<emailremoved@xxxxxxxxx>, ctladdr=<myaddress@xxxxxxxxxx>
(500/500), delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=esmtp,
pri=30372, relay=mta01.cdpd.airdata.com. [199.88.234.33],
dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent (Message received and queued)
But nothing comes through to my phone. (mmode silently drops the
message) I can email SMS messages to my phone from any other
machine on our network that is either running the older sendmail
packages or other MTAs like qmail or exim.
Anyone experience anything similar?
