Fw: installing yum

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi David,

Since fedora.us is still down -- a google search of 'fedora.us mirrors'
yielded the Fedora Wiki - Fedora Mirror List. Google's cache of that page is
< http://64.233.167.104/search?hl=en&lr=&q=cache%3Awww.fedora.us%2Fwiki%2FFedoraMirrorList&btnG=Search >.

A possible location for the yum RPM you are looking for is:

Hope this helped. -David

To install yum, use the following command as the root user on your machine:
# rpm -ivh
http://download.fedora.us/fedora/redhat/9/i386/RPMS.stable/yum-2.0.3-0.fdr.1.rh90.noarch.rpm

...

Can some kind soul PLEASE point me to the proper place?

Regards,
