RH 9 system with all up2date and yum updates applied. I downloaded lha-1.14i-12.1.src.rpm and iproute-2.4.7-13.2.src.rpm from from http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/1/ The rpmbuild --rebuild of lha went fine, but the iproute had several errors: glibc/glibc-bugs.h -I/usr/include -I../include -DRESOLVE_HOSTNAMES -c -o ll_types.o ll_types.c In file included from ll_types.c:23: /usr/include/netinet/in.h:261: parse error before '(' token /usr/include/netinet/in.h:261: parse error before "__u32" /usr/include/netinet/in.h:262: parse error before '(' token /usr/include/netinet/in.h:262: parse error before "__u16" /usr/include/netinet/in.h:264: parse error before '(' token /usr/include/netinet/in.h:264: parse error before "__u32" /usr/include/netinet/in.h:266: parse error before '(' token /usr/include/netinet/in.h:266: parse error before "__u16" make[1]: *** [ll_types.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/admin/rpms/BUILD/iproute2/lib' make: *** [all] Error 2 error: Bad exit status from /home/admin/rpms/tmp/rpm-tmp.79460 (%build) RPM build errors: Bad exit status from /home/admin/rpms/tmp/rpm-tmp.79460 (%build) Will the lha binary be of use to the project? The error on iproute is beyond my expertise. However, if someone can help resolve it, I would build a RH 9 version of it as well. -- fedora-legacy-list@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-legacy-list
