When Shrike reaches the end of support should up2date be disabled? If so what would be the best way to do this. I think 'rpm -e up2date' would be sort of aggressive.
I believe you can reconfigure up2date to point to, for example, the Fedora Legacy RH 9 repositories to carry on the work... Not sure how that effects the little gui applets that come with it though...
