Heh, frankly I think the splitting of $arch for i386, i586, i686 and whatnot were $stupid things to do in the first place. I'm glad to see that they have corrected this with Fedora, all updates are in the generic i386/ directory. We can still branch out for x86_64 and ppc at the higher level as I proposed.
