Fedora Test Update Notification
FEDORA-2004-1296
Bugzilla https://bugzilla.fedora.us/show_bug.cgi?id=1296
2004-02-24
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : pwlib
Version 7.3 : 1.2.12-4.legacy
Version 8.0 : 1.3.3-6.legacy
Summary : Portable Windows Libary
Description :
PWLib is a moderately large class library that has its genesis many
years ago as a method to produce applications to run on both Microsoft
Windows and Unix X-Window systems. It also was to have a Macintosh
port as well but this never eventuated. This version does not contain
any UI code.

It is supplied mainly to support the open H323 project, but that shouldn't
stop you from using it in whatever project you have in mind if you so
desire.

- ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

CAN-2004-0097:
Multiple vulnerabilities in PWLib before 1.6.0 allow remote attackers to
cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code, as
demonstrated by the NISCC/OUSPG PROTOS test suite for the H.225 protocol.
