Not necessarily. If FL isn't providing updated version of rpm for RH
8.0, then anyone who upgrades on their own can also upgrade apt at the
same time.
That said, as RH 9 goes EOL and FL picks up support there, we'll be
supporting apt using rpm 4.1.1 anyway and then adding packages for RH
8.0 might not be much more work. I don't have any RH 8.0 or 9 boxes
around, other than to test FL packages with, so I don't have much
daily usage experience with either.
