problem with rt3290 wifi driver

Hi,
I have a hp pavilion laptop with rt3290 wifi chip. Previously when I
used Fedora 17 (with kernel 3.3) I could compile the driver given by
Ralink Corporation (which is an open source driver), and wifi worked
without any problem. However in Fedora 19, (with kernel 3.11), the
driver does not compile any more (it shows an error LINUX error 2). The
RT2800 wifi driver given out of box with fedora 19 is able to detect the
networks but is unable to connect to them. I have tried extensively to
solve the problem, but did not succeed.
Thanks in advance for any help..
