I tried two live CDs, "Fedora 7 Live i686" and "Fedora 7 KDE Live i686",
both burned from ISO image.
Booting from CDROM, the system halted just before starting the kernel.
follows is what I see from the screen:
"Loading vmlinuz..........................
Loading initrz..........................
Ready..
Uncompressing kernel image .... Ok,,start the kernel ...."
And then,,,nothing happens.
My laptop is Dell Inspiron 640m, CPU is Intel T2080,,,
What is wrong with my laptop ? Any one can share his experience or offer
some suggestion ?
