Been there, done that - no honey :) Does fedora community have some more resourceful page regarding suspend/resume on laptops? When I had the same issue with the same laptop I was blown away with OpenSuse page - http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram - they hit nail on the head with their wiki page IMHO. Fedora needs more online resources - quirks page is not sufficient.
