I have Fedora Core 6 installed in my laptop, which is a Packard Bell EasyNote A8750.
Sound card: Intel ICH6 AC'97 audio controller
Kernel version: 2.6.19-1.2911
ALSA drivers version: 1.0.13-32
Sound card is not working. When I change the master volume I only get a cracking sound, but nothing else. "External amplifier" switch in volume control has been unchecked.
