Been running fc6t1/rawhide on my Dell Latitude D800, in general very
good, suspend/hibernate are improved compared to fc5.
Hibernate works including resuming afterwards.
Suspend does suspend properly, but when resuming afterwards the internal
LCD panel isn't properly re-initialized, the machine can be "driven
blind" if you know what keys to press to login and reboot it, or of
course you can SSH to it.
I've tried using acpi_sleep=s3_bios or acpi_sleep=s3_bios,s3_mode
both of which seem to cause the machine to do a full boot when resuming,
rather than resume from the suspended session.
The machine is upgraded the latest A13 BIOS and the latest firmware for
the nVidia 4200GO, but not using the binary Xorg drivers.
Has anyone got suspend/resume working on this type of machine (without
binary driver) either using Fedora? (or even any other distro)
