Ah ok I thought this might be incorporated into RHEL10.

with the MMtest work we can run some sanity performance tests to see if it has
any impact. My fear is that we will introduce a regression in a jemalloc
library or one of its users if this causes increased latency or decreased
throughput due to having to free the PTE for every MADV_DONTNEED (which may be
used heavily in some cases).
