From: Justin M. Forbes on gitlab.com https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/merge_requests/3339#note_2096495565 > Any particular problem caused by bumping dracut version requirement? The change doesn't need to be backported to e.g. older Fedoras. It rather does, or older Fedoras will have to start carrying a patch to drop it similar to what we are having to do with the libcpupower. From a Fedora standpoint, we are at 6.11-rc7 right now. I expect we might get an rc8 with this one. That means roughly 4 weeks from now, we have the 6.11 test week, and the week after, I rebase all Fedora releases to it unless something horrible comes out of test week. F39 may skip the rebase depending on how close to EOL it is, but F40 will definitely get it. -- _______________________________________________ kernel mailing list -- kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kernel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
