From: Chris von Recklinghausen on gitlab.com https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/merge_requests/2735#note_1591152748 I built the latest ark sources with this patch on a fedora system and booted. crash on a live system appears to work. I enabled kdump and added 'crashkernel=256M' to the kernel command line and rebooted. I was able to panic the system by writing a c to /proc/sysrq-trigger. The system successfully wrote out a vmcore which was successfully read by crash on a subsequent reboot. crash appears to work properly on the reaped crashdump. So the verdict is no, crash and kexec-tools don't need any modifications to support CONFIG_ADDRESS_MASKING. _______________________________________________ kernel mailing list -- kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kernel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
