If I understand what you are asking correctly, I am building from the srpm, so I don't have a git repository to commit the change to. I haven't used mock to build a kernel, but I think if I was, I could do exactly that, and of course that would be the way to go. I haven't switched because I have been building kernels this way for so long that I hardly have to think about it, and using mock would require me to go through a learning curve. _______________________________________________ kernel mailing list -- kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kernel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
