From: Herton R. Krzesinski on gitlab.com https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/merge_requests/2173#note_1369001617 I would go further on that, I see little value in using variables. It's very rare to switch compression algorithms over time. The only way I see it's useful is if we want to support users switching compressors, but then you're right here we may want to cover it fully like wrapping the compression level argument into another variable. I'm acking the MR anyway as is though, as I'm fine with either approach. _______________________________________________ kernel mailing list -- kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kernel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
