@vmalikrh Since this introduces a new environment variable you will need to
update the files under `redhat/self-test/data/` to expect the new variable to
be set. Currently the pipeline for this MR is failing due to this not being in
place:

Actually it fails both the `self-test-data` check mentioned above and the
`verify SPEC variables` check: `ERROR: Variables passed between genspec.sh and
the spec file must begin with %%SPEC or $SPEC.`


You can run the self-tests locally with `make dist-self-test`.
