This commit caused a missing build-id for vmlinux on aarch64. I expect it will be a simple revert upstream as this commit was not trying to solve a particular problem from what I can tell. Given upstream has just been notified though, we will keep this as "include in releases" and not merge until upstream has a proper solution. Signed-off-by: Justin M.
