From: Don Zickus on gitlab.com https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/merge_requests/2152#note_1179932973 @Conan_Kudo - the concern with that approach is, RHEL is not staffed to support all new technologies, we only support a small subset of what Fedora enables. We do not want to get our partners opinionated over technology we have no plans to support. Thus we try to keep it focused on a more realistic next RHEL view (next includes not only RHEL-X+1, but RHEL-X.Y+1 too). This is one of those technologies that are trying to take advantage of ARK by stabilizing things. We will continue to default off unless RHEL kernel teams feel like they can support the technologies when enabling them. _______________________________________________ kernel mailing list -- kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kernel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
