@ptalbert , I did some digging and I think I know what is wrong.  As you
pointed out, the MRs are succeeding with this MR's commit reverted.  Can you
please do a revert on this commit?

The issue appears to be the way the data is constructed.  There is an error in
the redhat/self-test/data/create-data.sh script that was exposed by the merge
window.  I will submit an MR later in the afternoon to fix this issue.

My sincere apologies for not catching this and causing problems :(
