From: Justin M. Forbes on gitlab.com https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/merge_requests/1304#note_647550054 I understand the need for this patch in the current certification process. I am curious though, what the longer term plan is. Is this something we will carry forever, or will there be an effort to make them FIPS compliant upstream? I am okay with this patch going in, as it seems that we also have some FIPS users in Fedora, but I would like to know that it is not something we will have to carry forever. _______________________________________________ kernel mailing list -- kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kernel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
