Bluetooth patch for Fedora 5.11 kernels

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi All,

The 5.10.y and 5.11.y kernel series have a btusb regression causing various
QCA bluetooth adapters to no longer work, see:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1916104
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=210681

Unfortunately it is taking quite a long time to get the fix for this into Linus' tree and the stable rules say that only fixes which are in Linus' tree can be cherry-picked into the stable series.

To get this fixed for Fedora users now I've added the upstream fix:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/bluetooth/bluetooth-next.git/commit/?id=234f414efd1164786269849b4fbb533d6c9cdbbf

as a downstream patch to the F32/F33 5.10.y kernels.

But given the switch to the ark process for the 5.11 kernel I've not touched that.
I've attached the patch (as cherry-picked to apply to 5.10.y) here, if someone
can add this to the 5.11.y kernels, then that would be great.

Regards,

Hans
