From: Justin Forbes on gitlab.com https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/merge_requests/741#note_461900688 Yes, with these auto generated config merges, it is much easier to change them by hand in the gitlab UI instead of checking out whatever random branch, and doing a force push. When the actual merge happens, you click the "squash commits" check box and you end up with a clean single commit. From their help text: With squash and merge you can combine all your merge request’s commits into one and retain a clean history. _______________________________________________ kernel mailing list -- kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kernel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
