My hope is that someone with access to Fedora's build system tests this patch. Because, if the patch is good the final .config files - the .config files used to actually build the various kernels that Fedora ships - should not change. (Note that the kernel's build system will simply drop unknown symbols, so they should have no effect whatsoever.) Of course, I'll be glad to assist here. Is my idea feasible?
