Thought I'd ask this one on list for reference. So in 4.17 upstream added the SPECK cipher [1] but for reference the ISO has rejected it (and SIMON) due to being designed by the NSA [2], not sure it specifically matters for Fedora but I thought I'd put the question out there if there's any thoughts or opinions on it. I believe from a Linux perspective it's currently primarily used on low end android phones that don't have HW crypto offload so it might not even be widely used in Fedora.
