Hi,
The 4.11 kernel was officially released last night. This kernel should
be showing up in a rawhide release in the next few days. F26 will also
get the final 4.11 update and then get the incremental stable updates
as they are released. F24/F25 will be rebased on the same schedule we
have in the past, which means waiting until 4.11.2 or 4.11.3 stable
release happens. The stable release schedule happens regularly but
without a guaranteed date. The best estimate for F24/F25 getting a
4.11 kernel would be sometime toward the end of this month but this is
subject to change. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Laura
P.S. If you still have an F24 system, please test and give karma for
F24 kernels
4.11.3 has been filed in bodhi for F25
looks good so far - installed it remote on my office workstation shortly
after your mail and an hour ago on my homeserver as well as on the F24
backup VM running compressed btrfs-volumes on top of LUKS
currently a BTRFS scrub is running over 1.5 TB of data....
* VMware Workstation 12.5.6 recently realsed compiles it's modules
* desktop is running fine
* firewall / router is running fine
* web/mail/db servers without issues
* two hostapd instances (with a single wlan adapter and a fake MAC)
* vpn tunnels up and running
* media server up and running
well, i guess that below shows network is really fine :-)
