They got pushed upstream.  They're enabled in Fedora.

Was it in some specific kernel version that it got enabled?
( which could be the reason networking does not work out of the box on F17 in hyper-v )

This is a bug against gnome-shell.  It also has nothing to do with tulip
as it's fprintd being crap if there's no USB devices present.

Yes I knew that did not think I implied that it had anything to do with tulip
