On my x86_64 system, I had to expressly say "--target=i686" for my rpmbuild. I think x86_64 by _assumption_ cannot have an ISA bus, so it forces CONFIG_ISA to false. Oddly, my Adek MB-P4BWA motherboard with Q6600 Core 2 Quadcore is an (admittedly rare) x86_64 system with two ISA slots.....
