100% agreed.  Only 3 options are remotely acceptable to me (as I understand 
it so far),
1.  Change the default value (in fedora)
2.  Change the value on a per-spin basis 
3.  allow installer/anaconda to set this (and other related items)

Seems 1 isn't going to happen, based on the feedback here so far.  3 seems 
the best long-term solution, but likely not implementable for f14.  Will 
probably go with 2 in the short-term.

That's better than nothing.  

Anything this it worth considering different values here depending on 
available ram and/or %__isa_bits (or some other boot/run time query'able 
factor)?
