I don't have this hardware, nor do I have any clue how to fix it, but
given it generally works for everyone else, it's not going to hold me
up.

Your best bet is to find some way of attracting airlied's attention, but
he seems to be busy with other things these days.

(Or bisect upstream and ask Linus to revert it...)
