Discover is a frontend for dnf. Use either, both do pretty much the same thing.
Discover also is a frontend to update flatpak packages and kde themes. So honestly, use whichever you prefer :)
I personally prefer the dnf cli command, but that's just a personal preference.

Hi all;
What is the difference between using dnf vs discoverer to update a
Fedora 40 system? Should I be using one or the other? can i use both? Is
there a recommended approach?
Thanks in advance
