key of "Show Menu bar" is "CTRL + SHIFT + M"
If you want back to X11 `dnf install plasma-workspace-x11`
Anyone else seeing this? Anyone know a fix?

Thanks, Sergio. I had installed plasma-workspace-x11 quite early in my
upgrade-to-F40 experience, but it soon got auto-erased during one of the
massive updates and I had not reinstalled it, until I saw this post.
I have just installed it again with no obvious problems, but is it
likely to disappear again during later KDE updates? I'm still finding
parts of the boot process rather fragile (Windows dual-boot in
particular) and more stability would be nice!
But thanks for your work on this.
