From time to time, I've brought up the issue about Plasma VMs in qemu no longer auto-resizing as the dimensions of the console window were changed. I file BZ's on redhat bugzilla and think I may have done so upstream as well. There was never any feeback or work seeming being done to address it. Anyway, turns out it has more to do with Plasma (Xorg) no longer processing desktop files in /etc/xdg/autostart. I've closed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1951173 with my local workaround.
