Hi Fernando,

welcome to Fedora KDE and thanks for volunteering, any help is always appreciated.

How can you help? There are many areas, it all depends on your skills, needs and preferences. For example you can look into https://pagure.io/fedora-kde/SIG/issues where we track some issues which we want to sort out. You can also go through bugs in bugzilla, help them to reproduce, fix or properly assign to the correct component and maybe bring this issue to upstream where it gets attention from actual developers. Also Wayland is now a big topic, we plan to switch to Wayland in Fedora 34 and we need it to be properly tested, issues sorted out and reported to upstream (preferably). We are all also very often active on IRC channel #fedora-kde on Freenode, where people can ask and they get help instantly if there is anyone online.

As you can see, there are plenty of possibilities and it's up to you what you want to do.

I hope that helped. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Regards,
Jan Grulich

Hi there,

my name is Fernando. I'm from Brazil. I'm currently a Fedora Ambassador, but I want to contribute to the Plasma/KDE's Spin.

I'm working as a software developer at FIOCRUZ, the organization that makes vaccines for many diseases and viruses.

So, how can I help the Plasma/KDE Spin to build and test the latest release of Qt and KDE framework. How to empower the Fedora's KDE/Plasma community with the 2Fs -> Features and First??

I need a guide, I need someone to show how to make things at Plasma/KDE better.

Can you help me??
