Can you try deleting the config folders for qBittorrent in ~/.local/share/data and ~/.config and trying again? If not, can you try the qBittorrent flatpak on flathub: https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.qbittorrent.qBittorrent I use the flatpak of qBittorrent because it's updated more frequently, and it works fine in Fedora 32 for me.
