This was helpful: rpm -q NetworkManager-adsl It showed a package already installed with some numbers. I dont want to suggest : dnf install NetworkManager-adsl This asks for dnf update and that lead to my OS creating a new Kernel and the desktop got hanged and I did a full CIRCUS show to get things going and later installed again full FEDORA SCIENTIFIC with my live DVD but missed selecting Kannada Language support for the Keyboard. ..................................................................................................... Overall, I now have some Fedora kernel improperly seated within /sda5 which I want to delete and merge with my \home or \root partition of '\' and dont know how. But surely after I saw the package with rpm -q NetworkManager-adsl I was confident that DSL was the option in Network Settings available in System Settings>Networks>Connection and this being the only option with the NetworkManager-adsl active inside the Konsole, I immediately deleted the wired connection and added the DSL connection and there I had left the service provider name as blank (as per the suggestion of another blog) and entered my username and password and selected the option that this login credentials is applicable to all users of this system and VOLLA! I was on the net. _______________________________________________ kde mailing list -- kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kde-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
