I'm really liking the kate that comes with kde5, except for one thing. It comes with "Highlight Selected Text"[1] turned on by default. It looks like with kde4, this was a plugin that you could turn on and off, but with kde5, it's builtin, and as far as I can tell, you can't turn it off. Does anyone know how to turn this off? This looks like something I might want once in a while, but having it on constantly totally throws me off, because the highlighing is very bright.
