I agree. As a quick hack around a lack of categorized logging, particular applications could be patched to use QLoggingCategory::setFilterRules to disable debug logging for that package. In general, I think libraries should have debugging messages off by default and applications should have debugging messages on, as Qt's defaults work. When I am using or developing a Qt application, I want to see what is going on with that application, but I do not want to be bombarded with messages from Qt or KDE libraries. _______________________________________________ kde mailing list -- kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to kde-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/message/JTJIYOKF2FO7QY4NNEXGFZKXX27AMWRU/
