OK, thanks for that. The problem is that the new program was not
started when pressing the PrintScreen key and the menu didn't show
spectacle in the Graphics section along with ksnapshot.
I erased ksnapshot and then reassigned the PrintScreen key in
settings. All is as it should be now.
yeah that happens always when well known things are renamed - many
people reinstall their machines never and also don't purge their
userhomes and settings because when that's the solution they could go
back to Windows also...
a proper absoletion does that a) in the package and b) installs a symlink
