Hi All; I see this fairly often, I use spectacle to grap screenshots of grapgs for a report I create weekly. Often after several screen grabs I click "take new screenshot" and I get the cursor to draw a rectangle but I cannot get it to go away with enter or esc so I end up hard powering off the laptop which sometimes causes other havoc thoughts?
CTRL + ALT + ESC on Unix systems for decades changes the mousepointer to a skull and every window you click get SIGTERM - at least a try worth instead hard power off
also i don't buy that a scrennshot app locks everything so that CTRL + ALT + F2-F6 don't work so that you can log intoa VT and at least graceful reboot
