Hi everyone, I've installed F25 on a system with an old Nvidia Quadro NVS 110 GPU. The RPMFusion driver didn't work so I installed the proprietary using this guide: https://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2015/fedora-nvidia-guide/ Briefly summarized, it uses a patched version of the 304.xx driver, blacklists Nouveau, and registers the kernel modules with DKMS for easy kernel upgrades. It works great except for one hitch: I can only run Plasma in 2D. If compositor with OpenGL is enabled, everything slows to full stop. Disabling compositor with Shift+Alt+F12 brings the desktop back to life. I'm at a loss about how to troubleshoot this. If anyone has experience with this issue I would love to hear your suggestions.
