Thanks a lot! After installing qt5-qtbase-static, kwin builds fine!
I guess one just has to know that Qt5PlatformSupport must include
qt5-qtbase-static -- the error message generated by
FindQt5PlatformSupport.cmake was pretty useless ...

Runtime-only dependency for effect video playback
