The idea here is that if there's a consensus by the kde-sig to remove this 
hack, I will do so.

My own personal opinion is that the current hack is justified, and that this 
workaround's advantages outweigh it's disadvantages.

In the meantime, I've agreed to implement and additional feature to the 
workaround patch that allows users to circumvent the hack and use the 
default (breeze) theme anyway.
