F23 Desktop alternate media

I don't understand the actual situation of Desktop alternate media DVD for F23.
Here [1] Kevin confirmed our interest in the alternate desktop media, but in [2] Robyduck said that nobody asked for them

Instead at [3] there is an explicit mention of desktop alternate media...
