Thanks, I see now that it does look like what I know as a mapping pin. And I was trying to work out what was in the syringe! >> More generally, is there a page online somewhere >> that outlines the anatomy of a plasma page? > > There's https://userbase.kde.org/KWin but I'm not sure how much up-to-date > it is. > Thanks again, that is quite interesting. But as you suggested it seems rather out-of-date. I don't see anything remotely like Workspace Appearance -> Window Decorations -> Configure Buttons (which would presumably have told me what the different buttons mean) in my System Settings. The nearest I can get is Appearance -> Application Style -> Window Decorations where there is a screenshot with Configure Buttons in it, but no indication how to get there in real life. -- Timothy Murphy gayleard /at/ eircom.net School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin _______________________________________________ kde mailing list kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/kde New to KDE4? - get help from http://userbase.kde.org
