Hi, I keep having issues with KDE/Plasma and I am not sure what to do about this, or if this is known issue with my setup. Typically I connect my laptop (Dell Latitude E6450, AMD Radeon HD 8790M) with two external monitors to have 3 display total. On each display then I can set up different wallpapers. I keep the laptop monitor as the "Primary Display". This is where weirdness starts. For example, upon logout and relogin, my wallpapers on the different displays sometime are randomly swapped. Sometime they're back to the right place after another logout-relogin, but not always. I often cannot create panel ("Default" or "Empty") on the desktop on external monitors. If I right click and add widget, widget usually show up in the correct desktop. But not panel. They either don't show up at all, and then show up in some random place/desktop after re-login, or all just pile on one desktop (e.g. the laptop monitor). Moving panel across desktops doesn't work most of the time, but if I get really lucky (maybe 1 out of 10 tries), I can move Panel across desktop. I've retried these things multiple time and re-started with new user to make sure it's a fresh / new config. At one time I got lucky that I had it set up the way I want it: 1 panel on each desktop on the laptop monitor and the external monitors. It worked for several days. Then at one point I log out and re-login and everything goes crazy with Panels piling up on just one desktop. I have never been able to fix it after that. Another issue is that removing and re-attaching external monitors would often mess up Panel placements, even if it's just supposed to be a single Panel and the primary monitor remains the same (e.g. the laptop monitor). So everytime I remove and attached monitors, all bets are off with regards to Panel placement. Very annoying. I am starting to give up on this, as it's driving me nuts. Is there alternative or workaround ? Would going back to F21 be any better (the last Fedora I used is F12, and things work generally find with KDE desktop there) Thanks for any input.
