Is it really any wonder that Plasma doesn't work with such a driver?

well, on the other hand with KDE4 it worked.....

i heard the same after the switch KDE3->KDE4, always the drivers where responsible, later it worked way better and now we face the same issues

honestly, KDE needs to face the real world instead a academic perfect one which don't exist and should stop to rewrite everythjing from scratch as soon things are starting to work smooth

frankly given the display errors with 3D effects i face on SandyBrdige/IvyBridge randomly never happened with F15-F21 i wonder for *which* hardware drivers KF5 was written........
