than why not just stay at KDE4 as long it is possible - it was mature, worked and the only needed fxies / changes was security updates
just sfae all that work as long as possible and let other distributions spit in their users faces, rule out the regressions and wait before KDE5 is really useable would have been a valid option
* for Fedora users * for you as maintainer saving your precious time * for anybody
